Upcoming price drop?

It's Canada Day weekend, and futureshop around here is selling the HV20 at about 10% off. I want this camera for a trip I plan to take on October. My question is, should I jump on the deal now, or should I wait a couple of months for a more significant price drop? I do want sometime with it before I leave for my trip, but I am willing to wait a bit.

I would not anticipate a significant price drop anytime soon. Expect 10-15% offs for most of the year. Demand is still far too high to have a worldwide price drop just for the heck of it.

I am also waiting for a price drop, but I think the Dell/Amazon thing has spooked the vendors - I don't know if we will ever see something like that again, but here is hoping it does!

Give TenOunce a ring or PM him. He has a decent price for us board members. I ordered mine Thursday and UPS tells me I will have it Tuesday July 3rd (Considering Canada Day Holiday - that's very good).
