I have been a member of this forum since buying the HV20 a couple of months back. It has been extremely helpful in learning how to use the camera; without the forum I would be lost, so thanks to all.
Nevertheless, I still can’t get my arms around is the make-up of the forum, i.e., how the camera is used and the level of expertise of members.
Sometimes when reading a discussion thread I feel like the dumbest person on earth. The jargon, and the fluency of it’s use, causes me to spin around in my office chair. Then a discussion thread comes along where a new member sounds like he needs help finding the on-off switch.
Has a survey ever been taken to determine the “mix” of expertise and generate a list of preferred uses for the HV20? I’m also curious on the age range of members and distribution of age groups. I’m guessing age groups follow a normal distribution curve with the major age group 25-35 years old and that I’m an “outlier” at 62 years old.
