    Default Question about sound

So my friend and I began to embark on a new journey. Making film's for youth, it's our ministry. I had a Sony PC-330, and it was nice, but I felt like I needed something more cinematic, so I bought the HV20 on Tuesday night. We we looking into sound, so we went to a music store. Basically, I bought a Barhenger pre-amp mixer, and a Audio Technica Midnight Blues condenser mic. However, I feel like that may have been the wrong way to go, as when filming outside, it sounds like crappy wind blowing. Indoors, with no noise, it sounds beautiful. Any recommendations for what we should do? I spent 180 in total for mic, mixer, and cables. The mic does have good audio, just bad wind protection, even though I bought a cheap foam cover, hahaha.

Also, we're getting legal releases to film in restaurants, and other places, so I sort of want to beef up what I'm doing. Whats the best way to do this?

Are 35mm adapter's worth it? I'd love to have really cinematic looks, but I've already invested 1200 into this project, and don't know if I should spend more on a adapter.

    Thank you all.
