    Default lacking sharpness

Now I am one to get criticle over quality. But I find my footage is a bit soft and don't look quite right. Most of my footage is under water so there is less light already which i guess would slow the shutter speed and increase apeture. Camera is curently in cinemode.

Haven't got one but been on here long enough to answer your question.

    3 possible causes:

    1. Focusing not that accurate underwater due to the murky conditions

    2. Slow shutter causing slight blur - you in auto by any chance? (in which case the camera could both slow the shutter and introduce gain to spoil the picture)

    3. Cinemode tends to be soft anyway with muted colours. TV mode will both sharpen it and saturate it.

How clear is the water and how deep are you?
Water generally has a bunch of crap in it and that will cause lack of sharpness.
