Taky delivers! Received my charger and auto adapter quickly and nicely packaged. Note that the charger plug prongs retract into the base when not in use for easier carry, and the auto adapter has strain reliefs on both ends. This is a quality accessory at a bargain price. Thanks, Taky!

I haven't charged the 2400mAH yet. Just did the battery the HV30 came with last night. Wasn't sure if it was ok/smart to let it trickle charge after going green for 12-24hrs? Is that safe/ok on the wall charger?

But I did put the big battery on the camera. Only for a minute or two but I'm thinking just sliding your thumb back more on the camera for handled should be fine. I also got my Velbon VD_7000 tripod in yesterday and foundout the quickrelease plate covers the battery release! (Great) But that makes me even more sure getting the 4hr big bat was the right decision (It'll be my tripod battery, and handheld 2ndary).
