Abandoned City, Part 1
This is a short documentary capturing a group photo-blog photoshoot with a concept of Urban Decay. The location is an abandoned warehouse in Gary, Indiana. We drove down from Chicago very early on a Sunday morning to be safe since the area is shady.
I used a Canon HV20 with Crystal Vision wide lens, Calico Cam stabilizer, and a Manfrotto fluid head on a tripod. None of this video was directed, just capturing the day of events. At the end you might notice all the "junk", it's piles and piles of clothes. The audio track is Snowflake by TrentMoller.
If you have a Vimeo account, download the full res movie.
Thanks for viewing !
that footage is beautiful. makes me want to go do some group photo/video shoots myself.
i also really like the way you did the intro titles, they look very professional.
I liked the titles as well.
What digital cameras did you use?
Thanks Snugglysheep !
The footage was captured with a Canon HV20
What I meant was, what still cameras were the people in the video were using.
What a cool place to video and shoot at.

By the way, what font is that in the titles? Is it just Times New Roman at a small size?
