    Anyone else in Japan?

    I'd be interested in knowing how many others are located in Japan. I actually bought the Japanese version of the hv20, called iVIS hv20. It seems like it is exactly the same as the North American version of the product.

    There were unique issues involved with choosing (and now having) this camera in Japan as opposed to elsewhere. For starters, the available models were very different than in North America. I chose the hv20 because it is the only Canon you can get in Japan that still uses miniDV tape.

    Anyhow...is anyone else out there?

    Hi,
    I live in Saitama.
    I just picked up the HV20 today from Bic Camera (for a great price) after returning a JVC HD3.

    Glad to see I am not alone here :-)
