After doing sme audio/video tests with my mic I noticed that when I played the footage back in Final Cut Pro that the audio at some points seemed to fade out and then silence. It would then make a loud popping noise and the sound would come back. Could this be a low battery issue with my mic or is it damaged in some way.

Some insight on this would be most appreciative.
