First post: recently got HV20, trying stuff out. Any feedback?
Well i have been wanting to get a decent camera and learn how to shoot and edit and finally getting around to it. I shot this today down at the local park. Pretty much just auto settings except i played with manual focus a bit. probably should have had a hood and a mono pod as a lot of it was zoomed in on wildlife or scenery. Some nice shots of a blue heron and a red-tail hawk. A good close up of the hawk near the end except he tried to poop on me then flew away...
I just bought a new mac pro with FCS but just did this in imovie while i try and figure out that crazy program. shot 1080i 60. Found that the vimeo suggested settings for quicktime deinterlace didnt really work so i used JES deinterlacer and it did a pretty good job except for the slowmotion of my wife and dog running. I think i read about that, maybe have to do slow mo seperately with blended fields.
Anyway, any feedback is welcome as well as suggested settings on the hv20 for next time.
