Default Use for indoor sporting events?

I have been considering buying the HV20. My intended use is for indoor sporting events and then post production editing. I have seen here on this board that some feel that the HV20 is lacking in lower light situations, however, I read that 3 chip CCD camaras do not perform better at this price point.

In your opinion how well, do you think, the HV20 would perform for recording indoor sporting events?

    Thanks for your help.

Not much traffic on this thread ! Must tell you I've been using this cam in low light and was pleasantly surprised at the result.
At least comparing with the Panasonic M-50 used before !
