    Default From pc to HV20

    I read that you can send back a edited video from pc to the camera.
    How and in witch format is this done?

    Sorry for my english I am from belgiüm and plan to by this camera, but I must now first some things about it.

    Hi franky and welcome to the forum !
    Yes you can record (edited or raw) material back to the HV20 tape.
    You can even use an other camera as source to record on the HV20.
    All this depending on a) the source you use and b) the format you use.
    e.g you can not use DV material as source to record as HDV on the HV20.
    The owner-manual give you some clues about it but is not that 'userfrindely'
    You may have to play around it for a while...but it works.

    You need software (eg Vegas) that supports writing back to the camera which needs to be set at 'playback' mode, *not* record.

    I now that the camera have inputs, but the reason that i asked this is when I record video with the camera and I edit this in full resolution can I scribe it back on tape in the camera with the same resolution as the camera ,
    I hav not yet a HD tv and I will stor my edited films on a Highest quality for later on stored maybe on Blu-Ray. Witch I not yet have.
