    Default Sale: PAL HV-20

I'm in the process of buying a Z1 and will be selling my PAL HV-20 with 3 Batteries and charger in original box.
    Head Time 3 Hours Max.
I'd be happy to sell for £100 less than the cheapest available UK price (New).

Please put me down as second on the list if you don't sell it to gecko.
Amazon UK have it at £539.20.

I can pay now with Paypal, would need to sort out some sensible guarantees of how to send the camera up to me - in Leeds.

    Thanks, Duncan.

By the way, if I were you (and as long time Z1 owner) I would get a Canon A1. I am supposed to be filming in the O2 arena next month and would love to collect it in person, but it'll be a mad day I expect.

    So vegasarian..I'm curious...why a Z1 over the HV20?

    Ian
Many of my clients (especially the Japanese) like to specify what camera we shoot on and as they're all trying to save money these days the PD170 and Z1 are being requested more and more instead of Betacam
My work is dividing into about 40% PAL and 60% NTSC . The Z1 is switchable.
Doesn't mean I'm no longer impressed with the HV-20 tho.

Oh ...I did figure it had something to do with having clients etc.,...and I see what you are saying. My initial thought was why not the A1...but you are following what you clients want...that's the most important thing. I never could understand why more camcorder manufacturers don't do the same thing...it jsut makes sense.

Years ago (b4 Betacam) we used Sony Tube Cameras (Sony 330 if my memory serves me right) and we could just change the boards in the camera to switch between NTSC & PAL. I did think about the A1 but they want an extra $500 to upgrade it to switchable.
