Default Rant: Cineform website - a dog's breakfast

Am I the only one finding the information flow on the Cineform website a dog's breakfast? I've just spent the last few hours trying to find a Plain English answer to the simple question, "What does Cineform Neo HDV actually do?".

I did find several easily understandable answers, not on the Cineform site, but here on the HV20 site.

The Cineform site reminds me of my early days as a web designer, some 15 years ago. Stuff all over the place, links all over the place, a 'Pepperpot Site' - like it was designed by the same folks as those who developed the software. They understand their product description/info and therefore assume everyone else does too.

There, I've said it. Rant over

I have to agree. It really needs a redesign.

I have to agree. I hope David the CEO of Cineform will read this. The look of the site is really dated and information is poor organzied.

I think that I figured out what some of their products do, but not all of them.

Heh heh ... actually David offered to trade CineForm product for website design when folks complained about the same thing on another forum. Could be a win-win for any HTML wizards in the crowd!

I'm tempted, having been a web designer for many years, if it's a case of presenting the current information in a more user-friendly fashion. But if it also means rewriting the content (which I think it sorely needs), then it's a different ballgame and a lot of work to do it well.

A ball-park estimate for that would be the equivalent of giving between 10 and 20 members on this forum a free copy of NEO HD/HDV.
