Acheiving the same wide angle look with a 35mm adapter and WA lense...
Forgive my ignorance, if there was ever one topic that I knew absolutely nothing about regarding filmmaking, it was lenses. I always found the subject to be really confusing.
Anywho, so I am wondering if it is possible to achieve the same wide angle look you get when using a wide angle converter, like the one by Canon, but instead use a 35mm adapter and a wide angle lense.
Am I am making sense?

yes and no. you can get the same angle of view and all, and with extreme wide angles you get infinite focus even in the 35mm format, but it won't look the same because the ground glass adds its own look to the image.
