    Default Fireworks Footage (HV20)

    I haven't seen anyone else post any, so I figured I would.

    The Canon HV20 has a Fireworks preset, so I put it to use at the Navy Pier fireworks. I just chose the ending of it in Premiere Pro 2.0, deinterlaced it, and exported it to 720p WMV file using Canopus ProCoder Express.

    Enjoy!

    Looks good. Seems liek you got the hang of it toward the end of the clip.

    My tripod work isn't the best in that clip, but I wanted to show a shot from far away and then of the fireworks close-up since it was the finale.

    What i would like to see with this clip;

    Slow motion and some classical music on the zoomed in part and it would be damn exellent, i'm thinking a Saul Bass esque title sequence here, maybe put some titles over it. Could you do this? Think of it as a pretend film school project. I actually demand this from you.

    I don't know how everyone else is viewing the footage on hv20.com, but i've started watching through my newly purchased 52" Sony Bravia XBR.
    This clip in particular looks absolutely stunning on it, i actually had to pause it a few times to throw up.
    It was that great.

    I think this may be to do with my childhood fascination with fireworks, especially the ones that explode like little balls of fire in the air. haha

    Haha, I'm actually trying to get a lot of footage of Chicago this week (I'm attending school at DePaul) to help put together a video for my roommate to take back with him for the summer (he is from Russia). I have 12 minutes of fireworks footage, but I didn't want to have too much to upload :P
