Default 25 cent DIY should be in every camera bag

    The tip of the day!

U allways need e tripod when U dont have one...
I keep this in my camera bags and it saved my shoots several times.

With this u can use any plastic bottle as a support. Less is more!
Water in the bottle makes it more stable.
    See pics.

    Default Good DIY

Very cool. Just don't add mentos & diet coke to this set-up or you'll see some serious "flying -shutter".

I would not risk my $1000 HV20 putting it on an empty coke bottle, never. It's so light compared to camera weight. The whole setup has to be so extremely unstable it would fall from a lightest wind blow.

Cool idea - do you keep the whole bottle or just the cap with the screw?

    Just add water...
Half a bottle is perfect. U can use it as a simple steadycam as well.

Exactly, I imagine this is perfect for those moments when you're driving down the road and you see Bigfoot/Batman/Madonna off in the woods. Happens all the time with me but after I zoom the excitement just makes me shake... I think I'll finally get some decent footage. E! here I come.
