Hi there!

Would anyone happen to have an extra 8mm/Hi8 camcorder lying around that they'd let me borrow/rent for a month or two so that I can transfer some of my old 8mm tapes over to the computer? The ones on eBay are a lot more expensive than I had thought ($60+, thought they'd be like $30 or so) so I was wondering if a nice individual here could let me borrow one of their extra old cameras that they're not using anymore. I'll return it as soon as I'm done with it (should only be a month or two), and I'll take great care of it, as with any other electronics item I have. I can cover the cost of shipping and all that. My two other 8mm cameras are completely dead, so it'd be really nice to be able to (finally) transfer over everything and be able to have my family watch it all again!
