I shoot sports, with lots of wind, I need a MIC!
OK, so basically, i shoot freeskiers on the mountain. The onboard mic does a decent job at picking up skiers landing on rails, and taking off and landing jumps and things, while the filmer is standing still. But the thing is, we do things called follow cams, where the filmer skis with the camera and follows the other skiers, sometimes going off the jumps or right up next to them keeping the skier in shot.
Is there any kind of mic that can eliminate these high amount of wind noises while we ski quite fast and record. It'd be a bit like driving a car at 10-30 mph and holding the camera out the window. Any suggestions? Or past experiance?

I think there might pretty much be only two options if you want to work with an on-camera mic or something simple. Either a shotgun like the Rode NTG-2 with a Rycote (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...le_Softie.html) or something like the Ohrwurm with wind protection: http://www.ohrwurmaudio.de/paypal.html
