Default $847 After Coupon + Tax @ Circuit City

Repped from Fatwallet, thanks to Adster:
Circuit City is selling the Canon HV20 for $939 here.

You can get a 10% coupon, thanks to nfg05:

"You can get a 10% off $199 CC coupon here at the AAA web site aaa.com Link
Enter zip code 93744 or 89427 and then click the "continue as a non member" button. Enter your email and 10% off coupon will show up in your inbox in about 5 to 10 minutes."

It is a pretty decent deal, not as good as from Dell a couple of weeks ago ($833.40 shipped) or Amazon/Tigerdirect

    Thanks

Default Price went up June 5

I too saw the discount price at Circuit City website last night (June 4), but could not order because "out of stock". Registered for email alert, and today, when notified of "in stock", the price went up to $ 1039!! Hope the price drops again soon, before the coupon expires.

    Default Dell confusion

I scoured Dell's site for the HV20 and had no luck. Does anyone have a link or suggestion? Thanks!

The AAA deal was what I used to get mine. I picked up in store though.

Dell no longer sells the HV20 on their site. That can change at anytime.

Neo - Clear your cookies and then use a zip code from N. CA, Nevada, or Utah. You'll get the coupon without being an AAA member.

I cancelled my order from Dell for the Tiger Direct deal. That deal went sour this morning when they cancelled my order without telling me. I bought it on Circuit City today using the AAA 10% off coupon. Hopefully 3 times is a charm and I'll be shooting footage of my daughter by next weekend. I paid 946.20 (includes 2 day shipping). I'm not sure that price was worth the time I wasted.

I'm picking up in store in 20 mins. $881.99. It was going for 979.99, plus ten % off from AAA.

Thank you Stactum for the 10% off coupon. I too bought one tonight through CC website, too bad sales tax in CA bumps price above $ 950. So the 10% coupon kind of paid for the tax. Not the lowest I am sure, but lowest from a retailer (in LA), and some assurances of face-to-face service in case the camcorder is defective. Now time to look for discounted batteries, wide angle lense and other accessories.

CC prices have been climbing for the last 5 days. From $939.99 to $979.99 and today $998.99. I was hoping to see prices drop somewhere, but haven't seen it.

They'll probably come back down this weekend for Fathers Day.
