Default How long did Canon Warranty work take for you?

I've got a bonafide warranty service worthy failure on my HV20. The tape mechanism still works and I've been able to extract my HDV content thankfully. I'm curious how long it has taken anyone else to send and get back their HV20 from Canon USA.

I have my GL2 repaired before. It takes 7 to 10 business day depends on the problem of the camera or if they need to order parts.

Agreed. I used Fed Ex ground 2-3 days. In any even, I received excellent service from Canon. They sent me receipt emails and a 30 day direct contact number following the repairs in case I needed further service regarding that matter. Which I did not.

Thank you for the reply folks. I've owned several canon camcorders and cameras over the years and this is the first time I've had to use their warranty service. :-)
