LOL! Never thought of that... but I don't agree, his ears are way too small, and in the wrong place, to boot...

LOL! Actually, in that photo he looks a bit like an older version of Tommy (not Kirk), in the original Mickey Mouse Club. Whoa, circle of life, eh?!![]()
Yes, but I would say saintly, not evil.
Yes, in fact so would I, Doc. I just used "evil twin" because it's a more familiar figure of speech.
I'm watching his story with interest, to see what becomes of him. He should not be being pilloried! Honesty and moral courage are too rare today. He should be lauded, not persecuted for it.
I'm surprised Sweden has been so silent on this - I mean, he's not even been sued (yet)...
Nice scenario for a thriller movie; he's extradited to Sweden (for a preliminary hearing...), but somehow, somewhere, the CIA abducts him and takes him to Guantanamo, then Anon hacks the entire US infrastructure, then... (fill in the rest).
Hey, all you best-seller authors; remember, I was first with the idea...
.... The CIA can't get their hands on him, so the US invades a third world country where they thought he lives in a cave.
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
Screw with the US see what happens. They will eventually kill you and dump you in the ocean, screw up your base of operations and that entire country, and a couple of neighbor countries just for good measure, and probably shoot some drones into countries in that general vicinity.
I'm just saying, probably not a good idea to stir up that hornets nest.

No country is perfect since governments are made up of imperfect people, but the world would be a better place if more countries strove to emulate the principles that founded the US, and the US would be a better place if it strove to return to those founding principles.
Well unfortunately, the people trying to return to those principles have gotten a little confused, and think that the principles we need to return to are Christianity and no protection for consumers, workers, women or minorities.
But don't blame all of us for that Iraq thing.

Those founding fathers surely had very good thoughts, but they are 250 years old. Meanwhile, there have been a lot of changes though. I'm not sure if they are ALL still applicable today.
But interestingly, the thoughts of protection of consumer rights, minorities, etc. are an essential part of Christianity.
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
... apparently not of fundamental Christianity...
Based on the roots of the term FUNDAMENT, isn't that a bit ironic?
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
Lol, actually no, but you can say that a lot of fundamental religious dudes are pretty big fundaments.... hmm, on the other hand, that would prove your thought...
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
Well, I'm glad to see support for Julian Assange! It's ridiculous that Sweden wont question him in England, or agree to block any extradition attempts to the US if they REALLY want to question him in Sweden. And the British government's threat to suspend Ecuador's diplomatic status so they can go in and get him... Well, I'd like to say that I'm surprised, but I'm not...
But I don't agree that religious principles should be the basis for government or society.
By the way Dr. Benway, where in Thailand?
