Default Please help me impove the sound...

Hi, I meant "Improve", not "Impove".

I made a small video (2 minutes) that includes some short interviews. There is a lot of background noise because I left the mic (RODE video mic) on the camera (stupid, I know!). Can I improve it a bit?

    Thanks for any help:

I think there is some useful information here:

    but even better information here:

2:50 is a bit closer to 3 minutes. Somehow I have a sense of deja vu when I see your youtube video.

Not to sound harsh, but as the mic was on-camera, that's why you've picked up a lot of room echo. Then, there's not much you can do about it.
MrMicah's suggestions are good, but you won't make miracles with them. The audio hasn't been captured properly at first (nothing harsh) so that's the result.
You could try to play with the EQs but I doubt it will help a lot.
I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN. I CAN BECAUSE I WANT TO. I WANT TO BECAUSE YOU SAID I COULDN'T.

That's poor signal to noise ratio because the mic is on the camera. Get a lav.
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

    Drapeama and Huey,

The links I gave are where he has asked a similar question, and the identical question, previously.

The main issue seems to be room echo and I think there is nothing that will fix it dramatically except to re-record the sound and try to sync it with the video footage. Having just done some of that, its not fun and I'm going to take so much more care with my sound in the future.
