That the heart of discussions such as these. Though in some forums there are a lot more ad hominems than others. Nevertheless, I try to simply provide information and data objectively and let the user decide.
When I give an opinion I try to make that clear. Otherwise, its usually something that is already well accepted and/or perfectly clear. For example, in the case of what is artist? We could debate until the cow come home on that one. Conversely, if you ask what's the most likely physical medium is to render your project to. Few people would argue that it is the DVD.
As well, some folks see an opinion as a right or wrong answer: If I say I only change my oil every 15,000 miles. That's a lot different than me giving you the notion that 15,000 is the typical point to how often you should change your oil.
In any event, you can still fix it if you point out that its not the typical cycle, and I won't have problem with it. Especially when you add that my driving is mostly over a flat surface and under perfect weather conditions. While yours cycle will vary because it's in hilly country and in an extreme climate. That's a big difference when the particulars are made apparent.
