Default Found the HOLD button on Zoom H2

I was complaining the H2 doesn't have any hold button in a facebook group. Someone responded, I can hold the MENU button for 5 seconds to lock the buttons. IT WORKS!

You lock the H1 buttons by sliding the power switch momentarily to "HOLD" - it's even printed on the body... and there's no MENU button.

Thus: are you sure you're talking about the Zoom H1 ?
