Terrible weather in England, employed a brolly guy to cover me... All Hv40, tv, 50 shutter speed, manual exposure, cloudy white balance outside, daylight inside, thats the the last of my work with the hv40s, i have kept my hv20 for the glidecam but , moved onto two hfg10s, wow, and two 60ds...

    Hey Budddy
see you been busy- great. Good job it appears you added a little more footage than you usually do- did the guy you hired give you a little extra flexible time to get some more shots?

How did the person do though-usable footage? A probable next time recall?

Thankfully they had a roof sunlight or that backlight during speeches wiuld have been a disaster for lighting. Where did the music come from? Its generic but in a good way, it works!

Nice one, even i got a little teary eyed watching this. The older couples always are more emotional.

Wow! That is awesome- people like that are assets for however long they stay. Is his school in the same city ie. can you count on him for the next few years? If so that will be lovely! Wish i was there so you could teach me too.

Anyway, i see the slider in use on the establishing shot etc. What camera did you use there and which where? And what informed your choice-associated activity? And did you set all to 50 fps?

Did you use your steadicam in the main dvd we are yet to see? What of the audio and lighting?

    Go get them buddy!

Hey Blondandfun buddy, when are you coming out with some of those exotic Persian or Arabian styled weddings? Are you also on dslr now? Thats all you use or do you support it with some other and what? With the dslr how many sdcards do you carry and what are their capacities?

He wants to learn, which is good.. thats half the battle getting people to want to work and learn.. All was shot with the hv40s, but as i say thay have now been sold and am now using the 60d dslrs more and more.... but have aquired the hfg10s canon camcorders, and i must say this studio they are brilliant, zoom slightly and you have bokeh, yep im telling ya these are some camcorders... pro sensors and low light amazing...I find now that my clients are getting to used to trailers and want less. You give them a long or great trailer, then you give them the DVD and you wait for feedback!! Then you speak with the client, they say wow steve brilliant but the trailer took the shine away... So now im changing, and the hard part is findig music for around a minute just to tease the client with the trailer whats to come..If that makes sense
