Default CXS-200 Dual Grip Handheld Video Stabilizer

Does anyone have any experience with this? Its exactly like what I was looking for to aid with my ski and skateboarding films.

I know there are ways to DIY for something just like this, but I don't have the skills nor equipment to make an equivalent to this.. especially one that I have to trust my equipment to rely on in outdoor fast-moving shoots.
If you guys have seen something similar, let me know. Last winter I wanted to get this, but it was sold out and they stopped making it:

    Much simpler but not available.
Let me know your opinions and advice! Thanks!

Since there is no mechanism involved, you can very simply make one yourself, of plastic (PVC) or even wood.

For the price, there's no way I'd suggest to buy that.
Instead, I'd rather recommend you to try something like that:

Can be done using very minimal skills in the DIY things. Only get the elbows, top and bottom bases and assemble them. Glue them together for safety, or drill and use screws so you can disassemble it if needed.

Still, too expensive for what it really do.

Agree. It's just a fancy handle, no added value. Not a stabilizer, in my book...

At that point, my DIY "Fig-Rig" does more than this, for like 100$ less!
