Worth a read first, before rushing into installing the profile:

Good point Dan. To sum it up in a line: Technicolor can be useful when shooting at night (you can always adjust the levels/contrast in post) as it can show some details that would be "crushed" with other profiles. I think it proves it quite well here:
As Janke said in this specific post, it's not necessary *all the time*.
As I've proved in this one, it can be tweaked in post with some minor adjustment as well.
Right , so basically just shoot with the neutral settings ?
Yes, but many people modify neutral like this.

Cool thanks dr, I shall experiment on my nxt project
Oh if I shoot with my 60d n 7d ex same scene but diff angle using both cameras n neutral settings vinces way n after Color correcting n grading would the same image final result b the same?
Also, different lenses have different color characteristics, some are warmer, some cooler.
Is it better n more convenient to shoot with one camera then ?
Yes, but it's more boring to watch. Don't be put off by our comments.
I'm going to be the devils advocate here and say... screw worrying about this crap, and focus on how you place your camera and lights. Ideally, lighting a scene will help you more in grading than trying to coax an extra stop or four of lattitude out of your profiles. Spend more time worrying about how to shoot the film, rather than what you can do to your camera.
trust me...i worry about everything ( not just the camera ) from sound, lights, actors story, angles, white balancing.... etc etc only thing im not worried about is being caught by security or my managers when im shooting without their knowledge in my work building on the 7th floor on weekends..or shooting anywhere else without permit. but this is just one of those times that im just enquiring abt using diff cameras..cos i dont wanna shoot hrs n hrs of footages then it turns out that it will double my work from the editting part..
so commong guys...help an aspiring passionate filmmaker brother from another mother here![]()

+2 for Daniel.
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
You don't have to install it. You can, under any User Def picture style set these:
Sharpness: 0
Contrast: -4
Saturation: -2
Color Tone: 0
ISO: a multiple of 160
And save it. Register it to C1, C2 or C3.
Disable HTP. This video was really only to show the setting and saving of a User Defined profile.
