Default Mount for External Monitor Sony DVP FX930

    Hello guys
I recently started using Sony DVP FX930 as a external monitor with my HV30. I would like to know how I can mount this player on my HV30. Is there any clamp/arm/hot shoe accessory which will allow me to use my sony external monitor on camera itself rather than having that on other tripod. Kindly let me know. thanks.

Some sort of bracket could do it, with some velcro bands, but I wouldn't recommend that. If you're using 15mm rails, you could always fit the DVD player on them.
Also, I wouldn't recommend to fit that on the camcorder's hot shoe. I would be afraid to damage it due to the weight.

Is a budget issue explaining the use of that DVD player as a monitor? Because I would recommend you to save some cash for a Lilliput monitor and benefit of the HDMI signal at the same time. Would be a lot easier to mount too.
I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN. I CAN BECAUSE I WANT TO. I WANT TO BECAUSE YOU SAID I COULDN'T.

Thanks. I am out on budget and have to wait until I get those HDMI field monitors. But I like the idea of putting the monitor on the rails

That's nice. Though I see the monitor is a special field monitor. I am using a DVD player Sony dvp fx930, so how do I attach at to the rail.
