Default Nice article\Blog on the Canon T4i

This came into my email this morning, good reading and has some well made points.

    DSLR HD website (DSLRHD.com)

Article is: "Canon Rebel T4i – EOS 650D – Is this your camera?"

Nice article. As always the user has to consider what she or he wants the camera for.

If its a stills camera, with bonus video option, then a user will concentrate on the stills features. I think that I have read that these are somewhat minimal increments over the 550D.

If its a VDSLR, people will need to look at the competition and also their future aspirations. If they have an investment in Canon glass, they might want to preserve that and buy into the auto focus options, knowing that it only comes with limited lenses at the moment. As they are using manual focus for video at the moment (assuming 550D etc) they are no worse off, but they might want to look to a potential longer-term upside of the possibility of future STM lenses.

Its going to be interesting to see how people choose between the 650D and the 60D. I don't know if there is a 70D (or a 60D Mk II) planned, but that could add more interesting choices in the future as well.

For Sony, the touchscreen is required, no manual backups. I have seen sony cameras where touchscreen goes bad entire camera unusable. Very costly to fix.

If the canon use touch only for focus its ok but bad if its relied upon for basic functions, like Sony does.

Those screens pressure sensative or use conductance like ipad? Sony is pressure: many people press too hard it breaks the system. EXTREMELY common to see Sonys break and be unusable from poor touchscreens.

Those sonys also have soft pad screens, easily damaged...why not use glass??? Lol so stupid!

People should be aware its completely diff. Technology from ipad, its not very good!

THAT is the only thing im waiting for on reviews.
