Default Can anyone recommend some good books on Final Cut X?

Moving from PC based to MAC with Final Cut Pro X.

Familiar with editing, just need to understand the workflow, media management, rendering settings, etc. for Final Cut X.

    Thanks!

Not just choose a simple book, choose the gold standard: http://www.peachpit.com/store/produc...sbn=0321774671

You finish that book and you can sign up with the First Level Certificaton test.

Since you already are familiar with edting... this book is perfect for understanding the new approach built into FCPX
Final Cut Pro X - How it Works: A new type of manual - the visual approach available from the author as a pdf or from Amazon in perfect binding.

I have all of those Graphical Enhanced Manuals. They are weird and it takes it a moment or two to get into them. They are a pretty good reference though... And dirt cheap.

If you are fine with the PDF, you can download them directly from Edgar's site for only a fistful of dollars.

As a thank you, you'll be allowed to download some of his film music (at least I could)
