Default FS: Brevis 35 w/ Flip Module 35mm Adapter Previously owned by Justin Johnson!

    Hey guys!
I REALLY don't want to sell this item, but I have to (story below). This is a Cinevate Brevis 35 with the flip module. This was previously owned by Justin Johnson, co-founder of Indy Mogul and The Indie Machines. It works great, except the lens release has broken off. It's not a big deal though, you just need a thumbtack, paper clip, or other small object to stick in the hole and slide the release.

    Included will be the:
    Brevis 35
    Flip Module
    Extra ground glass
original charger (this is a vibrating adapter)
Nikon 50mm f 1.8 (link is to the exact lens)
DIY Rail System (created by Justin)

Now, why am I selling it? I was accepted into a German American exchange group at my school. More information on the ChipIn page I created (feel free to donate if you can!). So, I have to have all my money turned in for the trip by May 31st the absolute latest (we leave June 5th). If I don't raise all the money I need, I won't be able to go, which would be heartbreaking, for both me and my German Exchange partner who stayed with me this spring. I REALLY don't want to sell this because it's not only a good piece of filmmaking gear, but almost like an Indy Mogul memorabilia collectors item (I've been watching and have been a fan of Indy Mogul since it started) Anyways, I'm not sure what it's worth, so if someone knows a good price that I could sell it for fairly quick please let me know.
    Thanks!IMG_0030.jpgIMG_0026.jpgIMG_0027.jpgIMG_0028.jpgIMG_0029.jpgIMG_0031.jpg

I used it for parts of this. I'm not experience with it though, so the footage doesn't look that great and is pretty out of focus. I also forgot to turn the adapter on, so theres some grain!

EDIT: still for sale. Almohada had a typo and ment $250. If anyone has a higher offer let me know. I need to sell this as soon as possible

If money wasn't an issue, sure this would definitively be interesting!

Especially at that price, or lower.

What do you think would be a fair price? I haven't been in the market for one in a while, so I'm not really sure what they're going for. I'd be fine with $250, but Almohada is no longer in the market for one.

I don't know. As a 35mm adapter supporter I'd say it would easily worth the investment, but as the DSLRs are quite affordable nowadays with the only need of buying lenses, then a 250$ investment to put in front of your camcorder (no matter which one) can be a little expensive.

    Q: Does it worth it?
    A: Yes.

Q: Would people be ready to pay that amount for it?
    A: Most probably not.
