That's AMAZING on so many levels. Not least of all the fact that the BOOM apparently is such a recognized item, it doesn't seem to be out of place ANYWHERE.

Thanks guys! Yeah, quite a few people were able to recognize it as a BOOM which was surprising! BTW this was shot on an HV30 and audio was captured to a Zoom H4N. The mic was a RODE NTG-2. Boom Pole was RODE as well.

Why is that funny?
What I found funny was that these people didn't seem to wonder what it was, and just let it happen.
Was this California? (Edit: oh, Utah...)
If this happened in my parts of the world, that mic would have been history, ripped from its socket, and shoved up...well, you know...
Note to future robbers:
Pretend to make a movie, with cams, matte boxes and boom mics, and people will simply let you rob any bank.

I dunno, some things are really funny to me, and some things just aren't... maybe it's just me.
