Do you guys use Focus Peaking in Magic Lantern? Do you find it accurate?
Depends on the lens that is used, in particular the DOF.
I tend to use the Magic Zoom more and more. It replaces the standard zoom in function and is pretty similar to the way you would focus manually on a analog DSLR.
Magic zoom is great, but I had problems with it stopping recording (processor overload?) when used in conjunction with the live histogram. Maybe that's fixed in recent builds...

I never use the histogram, but use the different display setups that you can customize and save and switch between those.
On my T2i, display setup 1 has zebras switched ON. I use that display setup to check for blacks & highlights. In practice, I adjust either aperture or my Vari ND to make sure there's no blown out highlights.
Once I start shooting, I move to display setup 2, which is identical to display setup 1 except for zebras (which is switched off).
As picture profile, I use flaat2, which is a good middleground between shooting with Neutral (modified) and a flat profile like Technicolor. I have plenty of leeway when grading this way. Flaat2 is highly recommended. It leaves skin tones intact (I think it's based on the Portrait picture style)
its working now after installing the bug fix update
