This was shot with a HV30.
We wanted to do something with a hint of a TJ Hooker or 70's or 80's cop show feel to it.
An interesting thing about is the outfit used is an actual police uniform, not a costume or replica.

Looks like you had some fun doing that. Nice crisp editing and no wasted shots. You've done promo stuff before, right?
Thanks. I've done some promo stuff before, but I've dabbled in lots of different kinds of stuff which overall makes me learn a lot.
Shooting this was very hard because I didn't have an experienced crew, just some amateurs that don't know a lot which makes things get to be very time consuming while shooting. I did the best I could though.
This kind of gives an introduction the the character, although I can't do too many of these because of how difficult they are to produce.
Hah, this guy's great. Good stuff, pbf.
My main focus right now is my youtube channel which you can find at http://www.youtube.com/poolboyinla
I like to do short films and this kind of stuff, but it is very hard to do because it is time consuming compared to non-fiction videos and it is hard to make it look good or the way I want without a good camera operator. Right now I have to use my girlfriend as a camera operator. She has worked in the entertainment industry for many years but she is clueless about operating a camera properly. It would go real fast if I could operate the camera myself, but I can't be in front of the camera and behind it at the same time, until I can clone myself.
We shot a follow up to this which is airing on TV here.
Nicely shot. Your language (accent) is too clean though. I had expected some Pinoy-English - Ofissah Grafd, Filibine Nasonahl Bohlihs
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
Do you do hen's night strips?
