Default Important vulnerability fix rolled out in Microsoft Office for Mac update

Microsoft on Tuesday rolled out updates for both the 2008 and 2011 versions of its Office for Mac software suite, most importantly bringing a fix for vulnerabilities that allowed an attacker to overwrite a computer's memory with malicious code.

I don't use Office, but I thought I'd pass this on.

So those rare times that Mac's are at risk, it is still Microsoft's fault.

Why, because I'm passing information on that some people should know about?

I've passed this on to one friend (an Office user), before posting here and he was grateful.

Well that would be up to Bob, wouldn't it. Like I said, after telling my friend, I just wondered if some of the forum folk might appreciate it too. Actually, I did consider one of Bob's shitstorms, but figured it would be worth the risk if I saved someone a ton of hassle.

Not always. Other times it's Google
