sony vegas movie studio hd 11

I have got sony vegas movie studio 8 but am thinking of upgrading to 11 because i cant customise render settings just asking if this will work well with my canon hv20 as i heard somewhere it cant handle avi files. thanks

Huh? The Sony Vegas 11? I don't use Sony but I have a review of it at home and will check. Unless I'm misunderstanding you, I'm pretty sure thats false.

Funny, I thought I replied to this a week ago but looks like my post got lost. The gist was it handles .avi, but I think Gary meant HDV, or possibly AVCHD, both of which VMS11 handles with no problems - the smoothness of the latter depending on your computer.
