    Hmmm... again I'm just learning, but... when you export a reference file don't you have to have FCP open because it's not self-contained and has to "reference" the files? Was that the problem with Almo's workflow on Saturday as opposed to his workflow from last night? Just wondering.

    I didn't do self contained last night... I always did reference but the first time I had FCP closed when I played it back and it fidnt work.

    Deb, I never had FCP open when I played back referenced files. Must be a Tiger thing, even though I can't remember to have ever had that issue in Tiger. Time to exchange the striped cat with a spotted one?
