So, how do I do things on here? I'm not that camera savvy, but I do enjoy shooting funny little films. If I could get some help in uploading videos that would be awesome. I am also unable to get an avatar no matter how hard I try. I reset the fields and even try to unclick the blue button icon, but nothing works. So for now I guess I'm a blank avatar. Thanks to anyone who helps.

Hi Ericka!
1) Usually, people upload their video to either Youtube or Vimeo, and then paste the links using the little movie reel icon in the reply box. Simple.
2) Also, you won't be able to upload your avatar as your profile might still be "under-moderation" so just post in some threads and when your "Newbie Member" title user under your username will be gone, then it should work. It's part of the process.

1) I'd get vimeo before Youtube, less junk on the first.
2) You should be able to load an avatar by now I think!

Vimeo is indeed better than YouTube. More professional. Both are free to subscribe. Youtube doesn't have any upload limit while Vimeo limits you to 1HD video/week and up to 500mb/week too.

Agreed, drapema. Youtube is absolute garbage nowadays, and I hate hate hate the new channel design we've been stuck with.
