Nicely done. Could have gone a bit deeper.
I wouldn't eat a rooster that has been fed for cockfighting. They are full with chemical growth and muscle enhancers, but if you need it
It is not so much the cruelty - the losing rooster is dead even before it keels over - that I detest, but the fact that children go hungry to school, while daddy's wearing miracle pants in which he always finds some 500 bucks (dollars, not pesos) to gamble away on a Sunday night in the cockfight arena.
The most annoying, though, are the roosters themselves: We seem to have to have here about 50 roosters per square mile. You can go wherever you want, you always here a bunch of those f'ing beasts crowing at each other. There's no chance in hell to do any audio recording on our island if not at 2am (and get a talent at this time).
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"
...and a fighting rooster doesn't grow up any freer than a beef cow in a feedlot.
