importing footage from canon HV30 using FCP 6

i'm finding it difficult to import footage from HV30 in FCP. FCP cannot recognized the capture device.

i have checked all of the settings but still no luck.

i'm using the settings;

HDV 1080i50
25 fps
firewire basic
all rates

the camera can only be recognized in imovie.

can anyone help me out here?
