It seems that with all of the Baby Boomers retiring, it seems many businesses are loosing the "Glue" that holds them together.
Anywhere you go medical,, car repair, construction, etc. there are people who just do not get it for some reason.
We drove 220 miles a couple of days ago to see a specialist for my Daughter. We were referred, and the appointment was set up by the hospital where she had been seen in the emergency room (by the way 2 hours on a bill from them - 11pm-1am counts as two full days, they are still trying to explain this one to me and I have filed a complaint). We get to the office with plenty of time, see the doctor and find out that the records where not sent over by the hospital. To say I was upset would be mild.
There is good news though (and this is why I am not in a cell right now after throwing everything and everyone in the office out the third story window). On the way into the building something caught my eye, pulled out the camera and ran about 5 minutes worth of video. Ended up being something that had a really cool effect and I was able to add it to my portfolio for future sales.
Eventually I will have no trouble getting my money back for the time off and the fuel. Money was really not the issue at all, I was able to spend an entire day with my daughter, lunch, movie and really did not care what was happening at the time.
