Aki may be the quintessential cynical nihilistic misanthrope, but it has been very interesting* to work with him (I've done fx and titles for his movies for some 20 years)... and yes, every time we sat at the editing console planning these things, he had a glass of beer and a pack of cigarettes within reach!
