Default Raynox HD6600 Wide Angle Lens + Canon 50mm lens

I don't know if I'm missing something here, but I tried to attach the Raynox wide angle lens to my Canon 50mm lens and they wouldn't fit. Both of them have 52mm threads, so am I doing something wrong?? (I just wanted to attach it to see how it would look :P)

You'll need a DOF adapter to put the 50mm lens on your camcorder, but you won't be able tu use the Raynox lens as well.
Try to be more specific about your configuration.

I'm trying to attach the Raynox wide angle in front of a Canon FD 50mm lens. (Not talking about a camera at all)

Then you won't be able because of the curve of the Raynox lens, unless you'd use step-up rings then it might work.

You need to check the Raynox website for a table that cross references the suitable adapters. You can't simply assume thread to thread matches will work. if the elements touch, obviously you will not have a suitable 'mating'.

Ok, thanks Good to know that I wasn't crazy and that it actually wasn't supposed to fit.
