Default Canon HF R200 for filmmaking?

    Hey,
I want to get a new camera for filmmaking, but I'm on an extreme budget. I have been looking at the Canon HF R200 and it seems to have pretty good reviews, but I know most of those are from people taking home video. I was wondering if anyone has used an R200 for filmmaking and how the quality was?
Any info or recommendations would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

Technically it seems to have all the main pre-requisites, mic input with manual audio level control, headphone jack for monitoring audio. I didn't see anything about manual focus but if the "touch focus" works that should be good enough for when you need manual.

Aside from that you're dealing with a camcorder that is basically automatic even in selected non fully auto modes. But for the most part it should work for what you want. At that price level you're not going to get anything with real manual control.

On the Canon store, you can get the HF M40 camcorder refurbished for only $349. A great camera and a steal for that price.
