Hate to sound like those from the Windows XP to Vista crowd, but I'll stick with Windows 7. Metro holds nothing interesting on the PC platform for me.

Main comp here is still WinXP64 with new ones being Windows 7 ultimate (which is quite good)!

Yeah I have 7 Ultimate as well. 8 looks like a small upgrade, a bit "Apple" in the respect that it's all dressed up as the "next big thing, with all the trimmings"... when all it really seems to be is a rebadged Windows 7 with a touchgreen GUI and a few tweaks.
Mind you, my opinions may change upon release. But right now I'm comfortable with my editing machine on Windows 7.
Oh, and please... nobody take my comment about Apple as "mac bashing". Getting sick of the arguing and fanboi-ism floating around...

I would like to return back to XP x64, but my audio drivers aren't supported and I'd have to run the OS in English...so it's not a big deal for me, as I'm used to it in French. But, from what I recall when I tested it, it was running quite fast with a dual-core with 8gb of Ram!Originally Posted by 1
