Is some aliasing and moire acceptable to you?
I, like others, do the best I can to avoid both. However, I have made decisions to use otherwise useful shots despite their presence (if minimal) in certain projects. I guess this question involves the interpretation of idealized perfection in an image. How do you deal with the choice when you are faced with it?

Some cases are fixable, even if not perfectly. I once had a problem with severe moire on a corduroy jacket. I made a simple soft-edged matte, and blurred the area a bit. Not perfect, but no-one noticed...
