Right when I read the title of this post I knew it had something do with Reid.
Do not view me as a critic or a judge. I just tell it how I see it, valuable or not.

Ah, Reid! I remember distinctly this guy (how could anybody forget him?) I pictured him as a rather benevolent figure at the time, if somewhat (OK, a lot!) quirky.

Didn't he actually post about his mental instability quite often? From what I remember from his... rather "bs" posts (the only way I can describe them really), he admited his health has actually pretty bad and he couldn't walk?
If that was the case, how did he manage to paint a sign... and SURVIVE being spear tackled? This guy, from the photos he posted... was pretty much stuck in a chair attached to a computer!

MFH, buddy of mine back in Germany was writing the same stuff - called it poetry. He even got published in our smalltown rag (he was the only one sending in stuff). Nobody understood his writing, so he was a great poet.

I write that stuff often, but its only really to sort out the feelings and nail them down (so to speak).
Mind you, everyone can understand my stuff. So I'm pretty bad! AND if you read some of the stuff classic Aussie writers did ("Banjo" Patterson was one in particular), that stuff was damn hard. Like Shakespeare, only with a heavy Aussie accent ;P
I know not everyone here shares the same opinions, but one thing I do think we all can agree on:

The thing about Reid is that he doesn't look that unstable to me. He actually sounds pretty reasonable and coherent in his videos in Youtube. And, by the way, far from being physically disabled:
LOL the more I watch the more I feel sorry for him... well at least a bit of compassion... empathy for his plight perhaps? OK, well at least he's amusing! Funny thing is... I am CERTAIN he Googles his name often, so the more posts we enter into this thread the more likely he will be to see this and return! (For A Third Banning) Keep em coming guys!
Why did he get banned anyway? Was it just for posting stuff off left field, or did he actually abuse people in the forum?
If it was just the former, I did find him interesting, if at times overwhelmingly random. Here's an idea: Create a forum section called "The Reid Welch Show" and just let him post in that area. That would be a rather interesting initiative in my opinion.
