Does anyone know if the hvx200a has any successors? I wanna by it but most people say that this camera is getting old and stuff...

I believe they're making an HVX250, let me check....

...well, yes, I guess you could call the AG-HPX250 the successor:

I've used the DVX100 and the HVX200, both great cams (for their time). I have no doubt the HPX250 kicks arse also!

Thanks! well i don't have money for that, i checked some random hpx250 tests on youtube and apparently there are not big differences... i know those tests on youtube are not always well done though.

Funny, the site certainly looks dodgy, but has decent resellerratings.com reviews.
    Nevertheless, I don't think I'd trust it.

Boy, ain't that the truth: if you read between the lines of many of those reseller ratings reviews, most sound like either legitimate but under-informed customers who naively allowed themselves to be pressured into ordering additional accessories they might not have actually needed, or out-and-out shills. I have a real problem with "web shops" that refuse to ship an order completed online unless the customer calls to allow a "sales associate" an opportunity to upsell them over the phone, which seems to be the case with those guys. Their website is conspicuously mum about that aggravating little requirement, but since practically every review mentions it, or comments about "helpful" or "friendly" customer service reps, it appears to be their SOP: unless and until you call, they don't ship.
