Probably because the later is a cheap lens and it's probably not the right number written on it. That lens cost me something like 20$ a couple years ago. It works fine. Honestly, I don't see much difference between this one and the Raynox (at full wide), but when you look closer, the image quality is better on the Raynox. But for the price difference, and if money would be an issue, I could use the Digital Concept without problem and no one would notice it.
New World Video has the Canon 58mm lens for around $150. Is this a good company? Do they sell grey market?
Does anyone know the difference between the Canon WD-H58W and the Canon WD-H58 (apart from price)? Is one or the other other designed for a certain camera type or model? The Canon website doesn't specify. Thanks!
