Default Help with my IMDb ranking for my film...

My producers rep asked me to help get my ranking up for the American Film Market by having friends and associates go to IMDb and do a search for my film "Tiburon"...

    Thanks!

    Chris

ctb, I did the search from home and work so just added 2 searches to your ranking (it probably ignores multiple searches from the same IP address).

drapeama, don't use the direct link. The point is to generate higher rankings by doing a search.

Thanks Khaver, I thought Chris wanted his feature to be rated at first.

    Thanks, guys!

Yeah, I believe it helps the IMDb rankings if the movie is searched for - at least that's what the producer's rep says ; )

Trying to find a distributor as we speak(type) - let's hope somebody sees the potential in it.

Shot it all on my HV40 - I was the screenwriter, crew, main actor, editor, etc. - it was a true no-budget production, but a lot of time, effort, and thought went in to it.

    Thanks again for your support!

    Chris

I'm going to further amplify my comment in post #10:

To me, that trailer is "cinematic dynamite". It does not rely on "gimmickery" or special effects, but drives home the idea that there is a helluva story there. So I mean it when I say I want to see this movie.

Very few trailers hit me this way.

I also get the idea Chris has some very strong acting talent in it.

Just did a search again. Your film is now rated at 8.4 and your ranking is 151,235. I wish you success in your endeavors. Will you be in Santa Monica for the AFM?
